Dr. Rad has performed many hundreds of DIEP flap operations and his primary aesthetic focus is perfect symmetry and contour. This 67 year old woman and professional neuropsychologist underwent a double non-nipple sparing mastectomy operation. Her right nipple had to be removed because her breast cancer was very close to it, and her left nipple was removed for aesthetic reasons. Dr. Rad performed Bilateral DIEP Flaps followed by Nipple Reconstruction.
