This 49 year old woman is a competitive body builder who had below-muscle 420 cc round saline implants placed by another plastic surgeon 15 years ago. She was unhappy with her appearance, the wide gap between her breasts, the asymmetry and, during competitions, flexing caused abnormal displacement of her breast implants. Dr. Rad reattached her pectoralis muscle to her rib cage, and replaced the saline implants with above-muscle Teardrop silicone gel 555 cc implants. Flexing will now cause no abnormal movement of her breasts.
