Tip Rhinoplasty

Dr. Rad performs a tip rhinoplasty when only a partial rhinoplasty is necessary to achieve the goals of the patient. When a patient’s primary concern pertains to the appearance of the tip, this less invasive surgery can help correct the asymmetry whether that be a droopy or bulbous tip. A closed or open method can be used, however Dr. Rad’s usually opts for a closed tip rhinoplasty since recovery is accelerated as compared to an open rhinoplasty and the incision scars are hidden.

01 Artistry

Artistry is at the heart of rhinoplasty because each face is unique and requires unique attention to the nuances that make up one’s identity. Dr. Rad’s eye has trained his eye to evaluate faces both holistically and with nuance, envisioning how to restore a face to prior youth and even look more naturally attractive than ever. During consultation Dr. Rad will gain insights from what bothers you the most while weighing on the best plan to achieve your goals. This often requires a combination of procedures with open rhinoplasty as the primary approach, and jaw reshaping and fat grafting to ensure blended contours. Each procedure is intended to correct subtle signs of aging. But keep in mind that the art lies in the hands performing the procedures, not the procedures themselves. Just as a beautiful piano concerto stands in its own beauty, it’s the pianist who brings it to life, some better than others. Likewise, surgeons have different skill levels and aesthetic nuance, and bring to life the best results to varying degrees of ability. The level of artistry required to achieve natural, beautiful and long lasting results requires tremendous nuance. As Dr. Rad frequently says, “millimeter changes throughout the face can synergize beautifully into stunning yet natural results.” These details are reflected in surgeons’ before/after photographs which is why you must evaluate these with an aesthetic eye. You have only 1 face and so listen to your instincts when you look at surgeons’ results.

02 Safety

Dr. Rad’s highest priorities are your safety and comfort. A board-certified anesthesiologist will use a light general anesthesia which is very safe for healthy patients. You will remember nothing about the procedure, you will not feel any pain during the procedure, and you will wake up gently in the recovery room.

While a mix of excitement and anxiety is common, keep in mind that Dr. Rad works with a highly skilled team and risk of problems during surgery are extremely low and rare. For your safety, Dr. Rad performs surgery in a AAAASF certified operating facility (“AAAASF” is the highest standard of certification in the US.

Dr. Rad takes great pride in creating results that are as beautifully individual as the patients he cares for. In this same spirit, our approach to surgical fees is entirely personalized. No two patients receive identical quotes, as each surgical plan is thoughtfully tailored to reflect one’s unique anatomy, goals, and the specific nuances of the procedure itself.

Rather than applying a standardized or “cookie-cutter” model, every estimate is based upon Dr. Rad’s expert assessment during consultation, ensuring that both artistry and complexity are honored in equal measure.

While an exact quote can only be determined after your consultation, we appreciate that many patients wish to understand general cost parameters. For this reason, we offer a cost calculator on our booking webpage, where you may select procedures of interest and view approximate fee ranges. These are intended as guiding estimates—final pricing will be confirmed once your individualized plan has been designed with Dr. Rad.
