Begin your day with brunch at Commissary, The Line Hotel’s rooftop greenhouse restaurant in the Koreatown neighborhood. This has earned its place as the most Instagrammed restaurant in L.A. because of the unmistakably chic ambiance with greenery everywhere you look and the California sun shining in from every angle. As for the delicious food, Chef Roy Choi sources fruits and vegetables from local farmers to ensure that you taste the freshness of California in every bite! The husband of one of Dr. Sherber’s best friends was the general manager of Commissary when it first opened, and the team worked hard to create an oasis feeling in the heart of the city and to create a food and beverage menu that gives guests a connection to the “back of house” experience in the kitchen.

The Hollywood hills make an iconic backdrop for a midday hike. With multiple trail options to lead you to the top of Mount Hollywood, scenic views await you on your way to the historic Hollywood Hills sign. When you reach the top, take in breathtaking vistas of Los Angeles. Another attraction located in Mount Hollywood is the Griffith Observatory, an 83 year-old California staple that inspires all to “observe, ponder, and understand the sky,” while providing you with the best view of the Hollywood sign!

Valerie Grandury, the founder of Odacité, recommends recharging mid-afternoon at Beverly Hills Juice: “ launched in 1975 by David and Jennifer way before the juice craze, their juices are probably the most restorative I’ve ever found. My go to juice is their Big Ten (carrot, beet, celery, parsley, spinach, kale, romaine).” When you’re ready for your next adventure, the Getty Center designed by Richard Meier is a favorite of Drs. Sherber and Rad whose love of modern design is seen at SHERBER+RAD. Stroll the property of the Getty Center and see wonders of modern architecture juxtaposed with rotating showcases of ancient and modern art and ever changing landscaping, including gardens, waterfalls, fountains and spectacular views of the Santa Monica Mountains, the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles. Schedule a tour through the museum to ensure no piece of art or architecture is missed!

Experience stars being born at The Hotel Café. Often hailed as the best destination to discover L.A.’s hidden talent right before they make it big, this venue has a speakeasy feel that fosters a connection with the music and evokes the Golden Era of Hollywood. Select the main or second stage and enjoy a great night of music… but first you have to find it down an alleyway, so pay careful attention to the directions!
